In this image, I think about what the mirror remembers.
The mirror has seen every movement, every breath, every shift in light. It has held my image again and again. Light travels through it, through the enamel, through the colour, and carries those moments forward. The glass is not passive — it witnesses.
When I stand before it, I am not alone in the remembering. The mirror reflects me, but it also contains traces of what has passed across its surface. Light enters, bends, and returns. Nothing is separate. My body, the glass, the colour, the light — all of it is one continuous energy moving through different forms.
When you look at this work, I hope you feel that unity. That sense that we are not isolated beings, but part of a shared field of light and memory, constantly reflecting and illuminating one another.
